I’m from Chicago, so my loyalty has been and will forever be with Da Bulls. However, I recognize and respect greatness, and no matter which way you flip it Kobe Bryant put his imprint on the game of basketball. Kobe leaving the NBA and retiring really shows me how old I have gotten ( late 80’s early 90’s babies we are getting up there). It seems like only yesterday I was hoping someone would take down the reigning Championship Lakers. So, Kobe thanks for the competition, for playing relentlessly, making so many championship games exciting, for the highlights, for the cameos in Moesha and Sister, Sister episodes, and of course for the interviews in fluent Italian and Spanish. The game won’t be the same without you.
